Naturally Dyed Yarns
These yarns are dyed using flowers, plants, roots, bark, nuts, bugs etc. No two colors are alike which makes them unique and magical. They come in many shades of color, and ‘sing’ when woven together. We gather our dyes as much as possible, buy from local growers, are developing a dye garden and also buy from major dye producers. We do sell some dye materials for the adventurous soul.

These yarns are color and wash fast, some more than others, and they fade together beautifully.

Synthetic Dyed Yarns
Fiber reactive dyes are used for these yarns. We have a painters’ palette of colored yarns. These yarns work well as a family of color; there are many shades and values available to choose from. The process of dyeing is like the mixing of paints and, unlike the natural dyes, a color is reproduceable.

• All of our dyed yarns are available in Single and 2-ply yarns, fine and medium weight.
